Dr. Vanessa L. Guyton established Consulting Experts & Associates, LLC in 2010. A global training and managerial consulting firm that assists organizations in improving training, and enhancing overall organization effectiveness. Dr. Guyton has over 20 years strategizing and training organizations all over the world using her experience gained from working in large organizations within the government, civilian agencies, and non-profit organizations. Dr. Guyton honorably served in the United States Army as a Human Resource Manager for 10 years. She served as a Department of Defense Civilian in multiple positions to include: Program Manager, Human Resource Manager, Executive Coach, Equal Opportunity Advisor, Training Developer & Instructor, and Director of Training.
Her vast knowledge, experience, and willingness to share information led to her being known as “The Consulting Expert” by her clients and peers. She continues to support the military by serving as a Senior Consultant and Advocate that provides specialized training and certification for their Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Program (SHARP) and the Department of Defense (DoD) Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program (SAPR). Dr. Guyton is a credentialed Victim Advocate and has certified over 3,200 Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Victim Advocates and continues to provide them support and training. She has also provided training to thousands of military organizations, colleges, and civilian organizations on the HUSH Topics to include sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, suicide prevention, child sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and bystander intervention. Additionally, she is the President of the Women of Distinction Network, a non-profit organization that assists our local communities, mentor our youth and provide scholarships for women in college.
Dr. Guyton proudly launched HUSH No More, a non-profit organization that supports Survivors when they are ready to share their story and provide training on the HUSH Topics to schools, churches, and youth groups. The success of this initiative led to her being selected as an Advisory Board Member for the National Advocacy Leadership Center for the National Organization of Victim Assistance (NOVA). Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Carolina, specializing in Military Social Work.
Dr. Guyton graduated with honors from North Central University with a degree in Organizational Development in 2014. She also graduated with honors in 2006 with a MBA from Baker College and in 2003 with a BA in Business with a minor in Marketing from Campbell University. Her advance training also includes the following certifications: Licensed Private Investigator, Credentialed Victim Advocate, Executive & Performance Coaching, 360 Performance Feedback, Sexual Harassment & Assault Certifier, Diversity, and a multitude of Human Resource Certifications and training.
